First of all, let me tell you that I'm very happy with your work last week. Appart from learning about the discovery of Penicillin, I was very interested in your effort doing the tasks, the presentation of your work, and your trying to understand the questions and answer them in English.

- How many years did they use bamboo filament in electric bulbs?
- What date and what time did the electric generator start to work for the first time?
TASK 4: RESEARCH.
Appart from the incandescent light bulb, Thomas A. Edison invented many different things. With this reseach I would like you to look for some information:
First, search on the Internet to know what was the second name of Thomas A. Edison.
Then, search on the Internet about other Edison's inventions, copy the image of 2 of them and paste them in your Word document. (If you use your notebook, you can draw them or print the images and paste them on your notebook). Don't forget to write the name of the two inventions you have selected.
TASK 5: SEND ME YOUR WORK BY EMAIL OR WHATSAPP. If you send me your homework by email, please, write your name so I know who is sending me the homework.

Lo primero de todo es deciros que estoy muy contento con vuestro trabajo de la semana pasada. Además de aprender sobre el descubrimiento de la penicilina, me interesaba también ver que os esforzáis para hacer bien vuestros trabajos, la presentación de los mismos y que intentaseis comprender las preguntas y las respondieseis en inglés.
A todos los que me habéis enviado vuestras tareas... ¡ENHORABUENA!
Esta semana vamos a trabajar de la misma manera que la semana pasada. Veremos unos vídeos sobre un avance científico muy importante. El invento que vamos a ver esta semana, cambió la vida de toda la humanidad.
TAREA 1: Mira los vídeos con atención.
TAREA 2: El trabajo de esta semana lo podéis hacer en el ordenador o en vuestro cuaderno. Lo hagáis donde lo hagáis, la presentación ha de ser la misma: Fecha, banderín de título, enunciado... (Os he puesto antes la imagen de cómo sería con el ordenador).
NOTA: Si no recordáis cómo se hacía el banderín en el ordenador, podéis ver este vídeo que os puse antes de las vacaciones. No hace falta que lo veáis entero, SOLAMENTE la primera parte en la que os explico cómo hacer el banderín. NO HAY QUE HACER LA TABLA EN ESTE TRABAJO.

Además de la lámpara incandescente, Thomas A. Edison inventó muchas otras cosas. Con esta investigación me gustaría que buscaseis la siguiente información:
Primero busca en Internet cuál era el segundo nombre de Thomas A. Edison, o lo que es lo mismo, qué significa esa "A." que aparece en su nombre.
Luego, busca en Internet imágenes y el nombre otros inventos de Edison, copia la imagen de dos de ellos y pégalos en tu documento de Word. (Si optáis por hacerlo en el cuaderno, puedes dibujar estos 2 inventos o imprimir las fotos y pegarlas en el cuaderno). No olvidéis poner el nombre de los inventos que hayáis elegido.
TAREA 5: Enviadme la tarea por whatsapp o por email, lo que más fácil os resulte. No olvidéis decirme vuestro nombre si me la enviáis por email, ya que no sabría de quién es la tarea.
RECORDAD: Si hay alguna cosa que no entendéis o no sabéis hacer, no dudéis en preguntarme.
